Race Schedule
Taupo Half Marathon - Sunday 1st August 2010
I have lived in Taupo for 3 years now and although I have trained on this course numerous times, never have I completed the race. Completion is the first race as part of the Cameron Brown award that is acheived by completing specific local races, including the Kinlock Triathlon and the Ironman in Taupo.
So for me this is going to be just a fun day out, a training day, a chance to catch up with friends and to tick the box.

Its been a long time since I ran a marathon just as a pure marathon event so I am looking foward to seeing how this goes. Again, its just another training day, not a key race in the calander but with such a short build up to training it will be a tough thing to put myself through.
Taupo Half Ironman
Port of Tauranga Half Ironman - Saturday 10th January 2009
This amazing race sold out completely in less than 24 hours. The race in 2009 will be the 20th Anniversary of the event. Last year I had a great day out, placing 2nd in my age-group and also acheiving the fastest overall age-group bike split.
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens on the day.
Ironman New Zealand - Taupo - Saturday 7th March 2009
Live, Train & Race in my hometown is just the the best. I really want to race here again and have a good fun day out there with all the buzz and vibe that is Taupo. I'm currently looking for sponsors to help with the entry fee, so if anyone is looking for some advertising on the day, then I'm yours.
